He said he worries about wasting my time when he writes to me. Worries about how much thought I put into my replies. He's right on both counts, and I'm grateful he said it out loud.
I take replying seriously... Probably too seriously. Every minute I spend crafting a reply is a minute I'm not writing the piece you actually came here for. So this weekend I'm being short. If you write to me and get nothing back, that's not coldness. That's discipline.
