Hope your Friday is going well!

Tonight, I spent some time in virtual reality with my Dad and my friend Steve. We play this mini golf game; it's a really fun way to stay connected.

My Dad has never been a gamer. Videogames weren't his thing, but a few years ago I bought a Quest 2 VR headset for myself and showed him the minigolf game, and he totally fell in love with it. You know what he did? He immediately went out and bought a headset of his own.

At the time, I was living about 5 hours away from him. My Dad and I did not see each other very often, and to be honest, when we would get on the phone on rare occasions, we didn't have much to say to each other other than the same old things we've talked about dozens of times before.

But with these new VR headsets, we finally had a reason to talk. It's almost as if we were in a room together. We would regularly start playing mini-golf every single week, and it has genuinely improved our relationship. It keeps us connected, having fun together, and gives us a reason to talk without it feeling forced.

So, if you love someone, and you want to connect with them more... find something you can enjoy together. It helps!

That's all.

p.s. I'm still working hard on the Sowell piece. Going to war with it right now. If you want to send me some inspiration while I work on it this weekend, post something on my wall.

p.p.s. Have you ever improved your bond with someone you love by doing something together regularly? Reply and tell me about it. I want to hear it.
