So, by now you've heard. Lindsey Graham is dead. Passed away suddenly on Saturday evening after a trip to Ukraine. There's video of him speaking on camera just a day before his death, and he seems fine. Healthy, even.
It's quite a shock to a lot of people. Even the President was choked up... and here's the part that caught me completely off guard. So was I. I was sad to hear Lindsey Graham had died! I couldn't even believe it myself.
You see, I was a libertarian through most of my political life. Until very recently. And every libertarian builds their reputation on bashing people like Lindsey Graham. The "warmongers," as we would call them.
Lindsey was a total hawk on foreign policy. I don't think he ever met a foreign conflict he didn't want to drag America into. To a Libertarian, this is a grievous sin. Worse than being a communist or a socialist. Worse than supporting the welfare state, worse than Mamdani and AOC. Lindsey Graham represented the worst of the worst.
